After laundry...
Up and on to Coos bay via laundry, a battery for the fobs and Mo's for some chowder, per Bob. It's the last Mo's as we head south, so better grab it while we can. It is actually super good, better then the fabled chowder we had off some street next to a bank and down an alley. I munched on a shrimp salad sandwich melt with some great tasting bread wrapped around it and a bowl of chowder. Howard had something else, I don't remember as I was so focused on my kaukau... just before lunch is laundry at 37 st coin laundry. Cool place, one guy walks in with a pistol on his side, no one blinks an eye, must be oregon. Better then the guy outside of Portland, all in black, side arm ted to his leg with personal safety on his shirt, hmm. Back to laundry, 2 cats hang out, one crawls on my lap while I use my phone and wants to be petted. A black lab comes in on a leash, well a short leash that sits on the dog. Owner does laundry, dog wanders around to be friendly and petted. Cats and dogs no problem. Laundry push is to get Howard's riding pants and sleeping bag cleaned.
Leaving all that behind, we stop at safeway, I'm on the phone with pasha to get the bikes scheduled for shipping, Howard is after some batteries for our fobs. Road One says they need the paperwork, I call pasha, they ask me to upload the papers, but I explain, this is a round trip and they are already there. Gent from Texas says "why yes they are" 2 minutes later we are golden! Back to road one, there is some confusion, but the low down is we need to be at road one on june 20th between 8-12 and all is first come first served. Place from our host Bob is about 1.5 hours so should work, except need to figure out the traffic between the two.
Off to Coos bay, we get a great site, B7 setting up camp we are set for two nights now. A stop at wallymart for sausages and gray pupon has us back at camp for a warm fire and sausages on the barbie. We chat about the next few days, which are becoming shorter and shorter as we get down to the wire. Sounds like here for to night's, 1 night elks prairencampground, fort Bragg, point Reyes National park, across the Golden gate Bridge and down to Baywood Los osos, and then brother Bob's place and finally the bikes to pasha on the 20th.
Well that's the skinny of it all. Still trying to figure out Jerry's place bar and grill, strange but true place.
