(Mr squirell the poser)
Good morning campers. Wow, great looking day. Up early 530am but we have taken a vote and decide to stay one more night here. Very centralized for exploring more of the coast line, both north and south.

A cup of brown sugar instant hot cereal and some coffee sets the day to a great start. Did I have coffee? All a bit of a blur at this point. Off we go, Howard takes pount today so off we go exploring, headed south. We get to Netarts as our turning point.
Along the way, Howard sets a nice pace, and we can actually enjoy the coastline. Arriving at tunnel Beach we spend some to exploring the beach. I see a couple with yellow boots getting thi gs out of the sand, turns out to be little craba they will boil in oil and eat shell and all. There is a cave, but I'm enjoying the beach and sunshine. Coast is cool but nice. We head south and make a few more stops. One is at sand lake. Not expecting much, it turns out to to be the meca of super fast sand buggies. Hundreds are all over the beach, and many a camper van are set as mi I workshops. We chat with a couple as they roar off into the sands. Another fellow gives us a tour. I think he said 320hp, and has a turbo on it as well. Super tricked out. We watch buggies fly all over the place. I wonder how many people get hurt here every year, but I suspect they are self policing big time.
We stop for lunch ch at the Parkside Restaurant and Lounge. Clam chowder is great.
We head north but post lunch we are felling mellow, and when we head inland I suggest we stop to stretch and have a coffee. Works out well, I enjoy an ice coffee while Howard chats with the shop keeper. She does recomend a fish place next to where we ate lunch, so that is on the menu for tonight.
I am now sitting on some warm rocks at the Jetty. Great view, fisher, a lone surfer paddles across the channel a coast guard vessel heads out. While many fish. I force myself from the warm rocks I'm laying on for fearl of sleeping on the lee side of the Jetty. Now I'm on the much colder, windy side of the Jetty and am fast awake.great view, but cold. I've riden hear in shorts and slippers, but with a helmet on from our camp. I suspect I won't be needing the towel for a post swim. Off to walk the beach. Keep me warm oh great beanie cap! I have a slow suspicion, that I am the only one at the beach in shorts, slippers and a light t-shirt. My icelandic beanie from Janet and my windbreaker help. Time to head to camp in preparation for dinner at the recomended fish place.
Dinner at a great fish place recomended by a shop lady was great. Halibut and chips with coleslaw and a cup off clamchowder. Very much ono tasting, I will sleep well tonight.
Back at camp, cleaned up, bike has some more sir in the tires then this morning, things charging and I'm un-charging and about to crash into my sleeping bag. Plan is Coos bay tomorrow, leaving at 7am, be ready to roll.. I will miss the fog horn going 24/7, it really is very peacefull...
