Great breakfast spot recommended by trucker on ferry

Wow, wheels keep on moving, I'm am sitting at a tim Hortons coffee and Boston cream, resisted the Canadian maple, a usual first choice.

Ok, late night, midnight in tent babbling, sorry for the strange wordings and strange typing from my phone laying down in a tent, phone must weigh 100 lbs...

Firewood!
Firewood transport

Good morning!

We have been traveling for one week now, having left Hilo (and my way cool spouse Janet) early Thursday morning.  So 2164 miles thus far, not including 5 hours on the ground at hnl Airport via Hawaiian air (not their fault tho)..

7am lift-off, it is a not-so-bright but not-so-cold morning with bouts of fog, rain, and mist, magical.  I am typing as we wait for the Galena Bay ferry to Shelter Bay.  The ride was foggy with some rain.  Jackets do us well and keep us warm. Heated bike grips are comforting. Standing at the ferry loading area, a little worried as lots of steel is very wet out and that can be slippery as snot.

The ferry arrives we load up and ride onto the ferry first in the left lane and all goes well.   We chat with a truck driver, well I try to with bad hearing and my helmet on, but from what I gather, the weather should be clearing, and there are a couple coffee shops about an hour up.  He recommends two, one is La Baguette, and it is truly killer, and very repeatable.  See my photo of an artsy tree on my coffee, great art!  Eggs Benedict is amazing with pulled pork instead of Canadian bacon (do they have Canadian bacon slices in Canada or maybe not) and a bed of potato, onions, and veggies, ono for sure. Leaving, it is about 1030am, so making good time.

We get going, the weather is overcast ☁️.   We do find a Tim Hortons, and we have coffee and a small snack and a donut for me.

Now in Bnaff, in line at a camping ground toll booth listening to some great music, "Yes" yours is no disgrace, what a great classic.  We stopped at Lake Louise for camping but they haven't turned on their bear-proof electric fence yet and the girl recommended a free spot at an overflow car place,  Howard wasn't to keen to sleep in an open parking lot, smart move on his part.  So Tunnel mountain campground is our hope for tonight.  This will get us early to head back up the parkway for all to see.

Great news, we have a spot, not a bad price, and includes a shower and firewood, toss in a big arse size female elk, with radio collar.

Sionara for tonight.
