322/3295 miles driven.

Made it to Watson lake, sitting in tent after a nice 2 hour nap.  Very cold out and raining, but I'm warm and dry in my tent.  Howard has a nice fire going in the fire pit.

Today, was a great ride if you can believe it.  A bunch of rain leaving Fort Nelson, and on and off all day.  But an amazing ride, tons of curves ever-changing scenery.  Bears, a mom and two cubs, single and herds of Bisson, white tail sheep, even fish in the stream where we stopped to stretch. Nice to get to Watson lake, down to about 30 miles of fuel left.

Badish news, my front shock blew out and spewed dampner fluid.  So I need to abort the northern treck and semi limp back to sandiego.  Not so bad till I hit bumps, like a gravel road, it sounds like a can of pebbles and doesn't feel right. Drives ok, just pogos or feels soft and goes clunck...

Good news, this will give us more time in the pacific north west. Tomorrow, we turn north to Hyder Alaska/Stewart Canada, about 400 miles from our camp site.  Salmon Glacier, bears, and of course, the toaster museum, this completes life for snyone.  Then we either go thru Vancouver Island, or cut east to mt rainer.
